has increasingly come into focus as a viable defensive weapon.
Though it has been used in various obscure martial arts for centuries,
the art of Hapkido has broadened its appeal in modern times.
Although unorthodox, the cane is a very practical weapon,
and many have come to accept that it can be effectively utilized in self defense.
